Site Policies
One of the primary purposes of this website is to build a list of concerned citizens poised to confront critical issues facing the City of Boulder, including but not limited to the “Compatible Development in Single-Family Neighborhoods Project”, a.k.a. the FAR, pops and scrapes, or house size limits debate. We encourage you to fill out not only your email address (required at the time of registration), but your extended profile to facilitate such political action.
By registering and using this website, you consent to being contacted via email or other means for purposes of political organization, such as signing a citizen’s petition to force City Council to reconsider any action they take or put the matter directly before the voters. To remove yourself from our lists, send an email to admin@fairFAR.org and we will delete your account. For purposes that we judge are closely related to ours, we may share your name and contact info with other like-minded political groups.
Please be respectful and considerate of others in your comments and in the forums, including such basics as using no profanity and not making illegal threats. Postings may be censored or edited for spelling, grammar, clarity or any other reason as the site’s administrators see fit. However, we shall endeavor not to censor content based on politically unpopular viewpoints or those viewpoints with which we might agree or disagree.
By posting on our website, you grant us an unlimited right to reprint, quote, or disseminate any such posting. In practice, we expect to submit the postings we find most insightful as part of our organization’s comments re the City’s FAR public process/public hearings and/or the media coverage thereof.
